A Boy to the Bone

Jacob has been trying to keep up with Audrey Fish. He tries to be bigger than he is climbing on everything and running everywhere. Needless to say he has had his number of injuries this week: smashed fingers, a bruise on his head from a door slamming into him, a black eye from falling on the magazine rack and scraped knuckles from tripping outside while holding onto his chalk. No we don't beat our children, they are just super active.
While most of his injuries only had him crying for a minute or so his latest had him wailing for some time. I was having a hard time calming him when he ripped a long one. Instantly a smile replaced the tears and I soon had him cracking up when I asked, "Jacob are you being stinky." A few minutes later he passed some more gas while giggling. Oh and he has also progressed from blowing kisses to making fart noises into his hand a blowing them to you...and he came up with it all on his own. Can you say BOY!

This is why I have girls. Although, Mikayla seems to get lots of bumps and scrapes. Active kids. Fun stuff. :)
