Ok I'm not for sure, but they kind of look like shrilled up rhubarb plants. I google imaged rhubarb and they look similar in color and texture of a rhubarb plant, but all curled up. Just a guess :)
Janna, you are right on. They are rhubarb in the early on stages. What a fun surprize it was to find out I get to try to make yummy pies and jams with no garden work invloved. YAY!
